Recently, a reader of this blog from Australia described my blog as being "piss-take." Not knowing what this phrase was, I looked it up (shocking behavior for a librarian, I know).
A piss-take is British\Australian slang, meaning to mock, or make something look silly.
I'm really relieved. I was afraid it was related to a spit take.

I actually did my first "spit take" at work the other day, but I was nervous about doing it, so the water didn't so much shoot/spray all over, as kind of flow and dribble out of my mouth. It was pretty pathetic. But at least it was never written about on the internet where everybody could read it. ...Wait a minute!
So would that be a flow-and-dribble take?
Ah! The ol' flow-and-dribble take. Just like they used to do on the ol' Fibber McGee and Molly radio show!
...I'm a nerd.
