I try to bring sandwiches but I always make the same ones, over and over again and then I get bored. I usually do one of two things:
1) Skip breakfast & bring my Vanilla Almond Special K to work and eat it when my stomach starts to growl.
2) Run to Starbucks and get another venti extra hot, non fat caramel macciatto. This usually ties me over until I get home at 3:30 - then as I'm preparing dinner, I'm eating Cheetos out of the jumbo Costco bag....Darlenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01865693313611074058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20327577.post-5047458363669097032007-04-06T14:02:00.000-07:002007-04-06T14:02:00.000-07:00Yes, Neighbor. Sometimes I even cook a big batch of something I like and freeze it for future lunches.

I am always hungry and can almost always eat. I just never FEEL like anything when it's noon (or 3pm). I feel like breakfast. I feel like dinner. I don't ever feel like lunch, even if my stomach is rumbly. I make up for it by eating breakfast right before work (even if it's 11am), dinner right after work, and lots of snacks instead of a proper lunch. Usually I have granola or some sort of mixed nuts at my desk, and I bring a yogurt to work for one of my breaks. Add a banana at some point during the day and I'm pretty taken care of. I usually spend my lunch break sitting in the easy chair in the break room spacing out in 30 solid minutes of blessed quiet.Jen Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09566316936554013265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20327577.post-3954336153606657982007-04-06T07:35:00.000-07:002007-04-06T07:35:00.000-07:00I'm with you. It's difficult enough getting me out the door in the morning. Me w/ a meal is impossible. So, mostly, diet Coke and a Slim Fast bar. And, if I'm still hungry after that, half a pound of oatmeal raisin cookies from the cookie store in the hospital. Which, of course, more than cancels out the Slim Fast bar and diet Coke. But there you go: lunch is problematic.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20327577.post-66299876582588061162007-04-06T05:52:00.000-07:002007-04-06T05:52:00.000-07:00Get Nordic Boy to make more food than for 2. A couple of bits of the leftovers from last night eaten over the sink, two bits from the pineapple in the fridge, a piece cheese, whatever happens to be around.
